Carlos Macias is a Master Hairstylist and Color Expert with over a decade of experience. After attending the Vidal Sassoon Academy in London, he moved to San Francisco. Here, he began to build and establish loyal clientele in upscale salons in the Marina/Cow Hollow and Russian Hill districts. Having an artistic and entrepreneurial spirit, he opened Salon Macias in November 2011. Carlos is known for both his skill and close attentiveness to his clients' desires and look. He is dedicated to making everyone feel comfortable and welcome to ensure the best possible experience at his salon.
Flora DeMartini
Specialized Colorist
The Beauty Expert Allure Magazine featured Flora DeMartini as San Francisco’s top colorist, with a 5 star rating, just last year. DeMartini has 10+ years in the beauty industry, after finishing her schooling she further evolved her skills through intensive and advanced training for nearly three years.
DeMartini listens to every client in order to create a masterpiece based on the individual's wants, as well as their needs, and she believes in never compromising the health of hair. Whether you want to brighten your locks with an enhanced sun-kissed look through Balayage, a full head of highlights or you want to warm it up, she's got you covered. She creates haircuts from long flowing layers to classic looks; if volume or length is what you seek, she can add it with Dreamcatchers hair extensions. As for you men, she has mastered the coveted George Clooney salt-and-pepper look, as well as a softer and natural looking all over color.
John Yaskevich
Stylist
With a career in hair that spans over 20 years, John's formal education began at the Vidal Sassoon Academy in Santa Monica. Advanced studies have also been done in both Los Angeles and San Francisco in both cutting and coloring techniques, including balayage.
Influenced by current trends, John translates hairstyles into wearable looks by working with each client's personal style. His clients are always his number one priority.
Beverly Hill
Master Colourist-Stylist
Beverly is a long-time master colourist and hairstylist in San Francisco. Among her professional accolades, she has worked and studied with globally-associated Inter-Coiffure stylists, served as a network educator and consulting stylist for Redken Laboratories, and owned her own salon with an apprenticeship program of its own. Beverly is deeply connected to her longterm clientele, and remains actively involved in the Union Street/Marina district community. She continues to work on her creativity and talent here at Salon Macias.
Rogelio Patino
Hair Stylist
Rogelio is a hairstylist that is very passionate about the art of hair and believes in continuously learning. He often attends classes and seminars to broaden, as well as fine tune, his skills or to learn the newest techniques. Rogelio is very talented when it comes to being innovative and creating a unique style specifically crafted for each client.
Rogelio has been styling hair for ten years and started his career at Kamala spa, he then later worked at Edy's salon and Shepulsky Salon before planting his roots here at Salon Macias. He is very well rounded in all aspects of the trade, but specializes in mens and womens cuts, updos, blowouts and color.
Marisha
Senior Stylist
Marisha started her training at Paul Mitchell School of Hairdressing in 2003. After completing that, she got accepted into Vidal Sassoon apprenticeship program specializing in classic hairstyling such as A-Line Bobs. Working as a stylist, she continued her education at Bumble and Bumble school in New York specializing in straight edge razor haircutting. "I add easiness and creative edge to my structured hairdressing work".
